Ian uses his specialist oil market and executive management experience in consulting to a wide range of clients in the energy sector. He brings an understanding of critical business drivers coupled with excellent analytic skills to produce advice that adds value to clients’ businesses. His specialty is being able to analyse and interpret the detail translating it into understandable, practical strategic advice.

Prior to establishing Envisory in 2001 with Richard Hale, Ian worked internationally and in New Zealand for a major oil company. Roles included refinery economics and planning, crude oil supply and trading and corporate planning executive.
